What we look after
The things that stop work when they stop working
-
Workstations and users
Setting up, maintaining and troubleshooting computers, printers and user accounts.
-
Microsoft 365 and email
Mailboxes, shared files, licences and the everyday problems that interrupt work.
-
Networks and Wi-Fi
Reliable business networks and Wi-Fi, including Ubiquiti UniFi installations.
-
Security basics
Updates, antivirus, account protection and practical guidance that reduces risk.
-
Backup and recovery
Making sure important data is backed up and can actually be restored.
-
Technology planning
Advice on what to replace, what to keep and what to budget for next.
What reliability means here. Equipment fails, and so do the services it depends on. What you get is careful planning to reduce the risk and limit the impact when something does go wrong — and a straight account afterwards of what happened. Not a number on a page.
Two ways to work together
Managed, or co-managed
Managed. Augusta Technology acts as your IT department, handling day-to-day support and keeping systems maintained.
Co-managed. You already have someone in-house who handles IT. We add depth — projects, security, networking, or cover while they are away — without taking over what already works.
Which one is right is usually obvious after one conversation, and it is not a decision you are locked into.
A good fit if you
- Have a small team without a dedicated IT person
- Rely on a few key systems that cannot be down for long
- Want one local contact for technology questions
- Are planning an office move, upgrade or new setup
- Have in-house IT who needs depth rather than replacing
Networking and Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi that will not reach the far end of the building is one of the most common reasons a business calls. Site surveys, Ubiquiti UniFi access points, Cat6 cabling, secure router and firewall configuration, separate guest networks, and outdoor wireless bridges that connect a second building without trenching a cable to it.
It is part of Managed IT rather than a service of its own — but it is just as often the first thing a business needs, and it does not require a support agreement to get.
Typical jobs
- Dead spots in part of the building
- A second building that needs the same network
- Guest Wi-Fi kept separate from business systems
- Replacing consumer equipment with business hardware
- Cabling for a new office or a fit-out
Let’s talk about your setup.
A short conversation is usually enough to know whether ongoing support makes sense for your business.
